Internacional GFX Battle

Bem, a experiência ainda não é muita é verdade, mas resolvi participar na primeira edição do Internacional GFX Battle como membro da equipa portuguesa do metaldamage.com.pt

Pela frente teremos várias equipas internacionais de diversas comunidades de jogos onlines diferentes bem como mais equipas portuguesas de comunidades de outros jogos que não o metaldamage.

Será no mínimo bastante interessante ver a cooperação e o trabalho em equipa entre a minha equipa e porventura entre todas as equipas portuguesas, já para não falar de toda a experiência que se vai ganhar neste concurso.

Como bónus a isto tudo temos também o factor social que advém do convívio e competição com pessoas de diversas culturas.

Aqui vai uma descrição do evento:

The GameForge company has produced many webgames that had a great success all around the world. One of those games is OGame, which has several hundreds thousands players in some countries.Each one of those games is supported by a board, where the players can exchange ressources, weapons, discuss about the game, role playing anf many other things.One of the great success on the boards is the GFX forum (graphism). Many boards have their proper section which gather players interested in graphism. They use it to order avatars, signature or illustrations for their game alliances.Another popular activity is 'battle', players are challenging one another to make the greatest sign or avatar or another type of creation. They submit their creation to the public who will then vote and elect the best creation.
So we decided to extend the system to all the communities of players of GF games. That's why we have put in place this board. Each country can be represented by a team of 8 to 12 challengers.
We hope that this first event will be a success, so we can reproduce it each month, improving it and giving you the best show we can.
Now, talk to your GFX mod or Smod in order to create your team for the challenge. Then go the board and introduce your team. Don't forget that for this time, there will be only ONE team for each game & for each country.
